bad wolvesthe critically acclaimed and multi-platinum band, released their new single “The body” today through Best Noise Musicalong with a lyric video for the song.
The track haunts the listener, talking about how far you have to go to commit an unthinkable crime.
This is the first new offering from the band’s upcoming EP, which is slated for release this summer. They’ve been working on new music as they prepare to head out on the Visit Rockzilla with daddy cockroach, Hollywood walking dead and Fall upside down again, but this time with their new guitarist Max Karon.
The rematch will begin in East Providence, RI on July 27 and end in Nashville, TN on August 31. They will also be touring Europe this fall, performing in Germany, Finland and France, to name a few. “When we were writing this song, our goal was to try new things,” said drummer John Boecklin. “The slap bass and clavichord were instantly new territory for Bad Wolves. It feels good to know that this track is unlike anything we’ve done before. It’s a fun track that feels like a mix of Faith no more with a hint of Daft Punk. Enjoy.
In May, the band announced their new guitarist, saying, “It is with great excitement that we announce that our new permanent guitarist is Max Karon.
The funny thing is that Max isn’t new to us, he started the band with founder John Boecklin in 2014 and was a major songwriter/actor on all three Bad Wolves albums. Being a key ingredient in the Bad Wolves sound, it was an obvious decision. There’s no other person on this earth who would fit Bad Wolves better than Max. The news caught the attention of Blabbermouth, BraveWords, strong wire and others.
“Words can hardly express how thrilled and grateful I am for this opportunity, and how right it feels to be here,” Max shared. “Having been part of Bad Wolves from the very beginning, I’m so proud to fully join. It’s amazing how far this group has come, and I’m so excited and motivated to see how far we can go. I’m waiting looking forward to all about this new chapter in my life. I’ll see you there!
Back in May, Bad Wolves confirmed they would be joining Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse and Hollywood Undead on their North American tour this summer. Rock out with Bad Wolves in cities like El Paso, TX and Milwaukee, WI.
The band will also be in Europe this fall, touring with Volbea, Napalm Death and Skindred from October 15 to December 9, in cities including Copenhagen, Madrid and Vienna. All upcoming shows and ticket information can be found at: https://badwolvesnation.com/pages/tour.
